Rhenamin AP1911 is a high molecular weight polyethyleneimine homopolymer. Rhenamin AP1911 is  effective in promoting the adhesion of substances on paper.It’s soluble in polar solvents, such as water, methanol etc., it belongs to the class of cationic polymers with the highest density of cationic charges  per molecule or per weight, for its structure is always one amine nitrogen and two carbon groups. 

Rhenamin AP1911 is compatible with cationic or nonionic systems. It can also be used in combination with polyvinylalkoholes, vinylacetate or styrene copolymers as an additive(0.1-5%, on 100% basis)。

It's suitable as adhesion promoters for acrylate based systems, which are best applied as primers. 

For food packaging films application, typical film combinations for the use of Rhenamin AP1911 are polyethylene or polypropylene(pretreatment recommended) on cellophane, polyamide, polyacrylate, polyester, PVDC or paper, or polypropylene(OPP) in combination with polyethylene(LDPE, MDPE, HDPE).

Besides, Rhenamin AP1911 can be used in a broad extent such as textile fibers, cosmetics, and even medical devices, etc.
