Defros M3 is a high-performance mildew and algaecide developed by Hofmann Chemical Company specifically for exterior surfaces exposed to harsh environments.

Defros M3 is suitable for use in water-based products such as exterior paints, building materials, and interior coatings, effectively inhibiting the growth of fungi and algae. It is also highly effective on interior and exterior surfaces exposed to high temperatures, high humidity, and suitable growth media, where other mildew inhibitors are ineffective.

Defros M3 can also be used in some solvent-based systems.
