K-Flex 500 is a classic blend of dipropylene glycol dibenzoate and diethylene glycol dibenzoate useful as a plasticizer in many polar polymers.

K-Flex 500 is a classic blend of dipropylene glycol dibenzoate and diethylene glycol dibenzoate. This particular blend was created to take advantage of the excellent performance and efficiency of diethylene glycol dibenzoate but with the added advantage of the reduced freeze point imparted by dipropylene glycol dibenzoate.

Like K-Flex DP, K-Flex 500 is a polar plasticizer that is a high solvator for PVC applications. K-Flex 500 is also compatible with polar polymers such as polyvinyl acetate, and can be used as a plasticizer in U.S. food packaging adhesives in accordance with the applicable regulations.

K-Flex 500 is useful in a wide variety of applications:

• Latex adhesives, as a general purpose plasticizer

• Latex caulks and sealants

• Coatings

• Plastisols, as an excellent solvator for use in such applications as resilient flooring
