Solvro PC8001S is a new generation, high-boiling-point, environmentally friendly alcohol ester coalescent. It is not considered a VOC in typical coatings and adhesive applications. Solvro PC8001S exhibits excellent affinity and compatibility with latex polymers, significantly improving the clarity and gloss of latex films while providing superior scrub and water resistance compared to conventional coalescents. Due to its excellent compatibility, it is also more efficient in lowering film-forming temperatures. Solvro PC8001S also performs well in vinyl acetate-based products.
