Solodin 200 is a colourless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odour. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and almost insoluble in water, Solodin 200 is a suitable plasticizer for polar polymer and coalescent agent of emulsion paint. 

The addition of 5 - 10% Solodin 200 to emulsion leads to sealing compounds with faster skin formation after application, with less post curing and with better expansion properties at lower temperatures. Solodin 200 can be used in quantities of 2 - 4% as an additive to emulsion types in the manufacture of building adhesives and liquid roofing systems. Solodin 200 leads to better film formation and elasticization. With regard to eumulsion paint the addition of 1 - 4% Solodin 200 to emulsion has an elasticizing effect, without impairing the water absorption of the film.
