Cryminal 440 is a water-based, acrylic, high-molecular-weight synthetic thickener designed for use with water-based polymer latexes. It does not require alkaline swelling and is miscible with water in all proportions. Cryminal 440 rapidly swells in water, exhibiting a strong thickening effect while maintaining excellent flowability. Its unique functional groups provide exceptional tolerance to electrolytes and inorganic pigments, resulting in exceptional viscosity stability during use.

Cryminal 440 can be used to thicken and modify the rheological properties of polymer emulsions and latex paints, synthetic resin-based textile finishing agents, adhesives and fillers made from them.
